The family-friendly Kia Carnival upscale minivan continues its innovative versatility for 2023. All four trims are powered by a solid 3.5-liter V6 engine and offer something for every family. Read on to find the right trim level for your lifestyle!

Fine Features in All Trims

Even the LX base model Carnival has great standard-issue details like convenient power sliding rear doors and push-button start. The EX trim includes sunshades for the second and third-row windows, triple-zone auto climate control, a hands-free power liftgate, adaptive cruise control, and semi-automatic independent driving capabilities.

With the SX, you get chrome satin-finished trims and roof rails, while the SX Prestige adds a dual-glass sunroof and a universal garage door opener. A heated steering wheel and a driver’s navigation digital cluster are also standard luxuries in the 2023 Carnival SX Prestige.

Safety Specifics

The many standard safety features in the entry 7-seat LX Carnival include a driver attention alert, lane keeping, blind-spot monitoring, and auto emergency braking. The EX adds parking sensors and advanced forward collision alerts with cyclist detection.

LED fog lamps are standard in the 2023 SX Carnival, as are reverse auto braking and a surround-view camera. In addition, the blind-spot view monitor is a handy standard safety feature of the SX Prestige.

Kia Carnival Seating

Three-row seating with second-row captain’s chairs is standard in the LX, while the LX Seat Package option gives you another middle seat in the second row boosting the carrying capacity to eight people. The eighth seat is standard in the EX, with heated front seats and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. The top-of-the-line SX Prestige is the only trim with standard-issue genuine leather seats.

VIP Lounge Seats

The second row in the SX Prestige model features heated and ventilated VIP lounge seating for the ultimate passenger comfort and convenience. These luxe seats slide, recline, and have leg extensions.

Infotainment Highlights

The 2023 Carnival EX adds two speakers to the base LX’s 6-speaker sound system, a wireless charging pad, a 12.3-inch infotainment display, HD and Sirius radio, and a cabin camera and intercom.

In addition, the SX model includes Quiet Mode, so you can turn off the rear speaker when a passenger is napping. With the SX Prestige trim, you get a standard Bose Premium 12-speaker sound system.
